Andy Deacon Ultimate XV

The Ultimate XV with Andy Deacon | The Rugbee Buzz

The Rugbee Buzz is back, and we're kicking off our brand-new Ultimate XV series with Gloucester legend Andy Deacon!

Join Mark as Deacs selects his ultimate team from the players he played with and against throughout his career. From some of rugby's biggest names to the characters who made the dressing room unforgettable, there are plenty of stories along the way.

But picking the starting XV is only half the challenge. Who gets the captain's armband? Who takes charge as coach? Who's the all-important morale reserve? And which rugby legend from another era would Deacs have loved to play alongside?

We also catch up on life after rugby, his work with Halbro Sportswear and he reflects on his involvement in the fantastic 745 Game in support of MND.

Please be aware that this was recorded before the 745 game took place even though it is being broadcast after the event.

Great rugby, great stories and a few difficult selection decisions. It's good to be back!
